Rule 3: Music Edition:

a) Categories 1 through 12: the stated music editions will be used as the "official music" for all judges throughout the competitions, they include Open Solo (24 events), Treasury Solo: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary, Spanish, U.S.A., Chinese (33 events) and Open Duets (15 events). If a contestant is using a different edition, they must check carefully to make sure the music is not critically different from the official edition.

b) For the Baroque Categories, additional performance guidelines will be given to judges so they will be prepared to accept any "Baroque articulation" which may be different from the notated music. Such guidelines are clearly stated in Category 1 and 2

c) All contestants from the above mentioned 12 categories must perform music designated for their events. Any contestant playing a wrong piece, he/she will be disqualified to win a prize in that event.
